John Reuel Ronald Tolkien's

Middle Earth

The Creation of Eä!

There was Eru, the one.
He had his servants, the Ainor's. There were 14 of these 7 Male and 7 Female.
These male Ainor's are called: Manwë , Ulmo, Aulë, Oromë, Mandos, Lórien and Tulkas.
And the female Ainor's are called: Varda, Yavanna, Nienna, Estë, Vairë, Vána and Nessa.
Melkor, as we will come to, is no longer counted amoung the Ainor's.

Eru, also know as Ilúvater, gave these Ainor's there first theme. It was to play music for him.
This was going quite well so Eru gave the Ainor's thoughts and the Ainor's understood the music they
were making and began then to create even more beautiful music.

Melkor, also known as Morgoth, then began to make his own music which created disharmony in Valinor, as the place was called.
Eru saw this and he stood up with a smile on his face. Then Eru raised his left hand and a second theme fought Melkor's disharmony.
But Melkor had created something powerful so Eru's theme would not win. The Eru raised his right hand and
there was no longer a smile on his face.
Melkor became ashamed and piece by piece his anger grew towards Eru.

Then Eru gave the Ainor's a vision and they saw what had been created in the fight and there was Eá.

Melkor became the enemy and fought the Ainor's and caused great greef to the world.

Melkor stole the Silmarill's which Fëanor had made. These 3 Silmarill's were the most beautiful jewel's ever made.
When Melkor destroyed the trees of light in Valinor there was no light in Middle Earth and the only remaining light of
these trees were trapped inside these Silmarill's. Melkor wanted these Silmarill's so bad that he attacked Valinor and killed
Fëanor's father, Finwë, and stole the Silmarill's with the help of Ungoliant, Hutula's mother (if you have read LOTR), which was a giant spider.
Then Fëanor made an oath that would destroy almost every Noldo as his race was called.

Later in this book you will here of Sauron. He was made by Aulë, but Melkor tricked him to be his servant with gifts and deception.
